Low Cost Silver Die Attach Adhesives
rotavic Korea developed Low Cost Silver Adhesive series, ACE34564C & ACE34565M. By adopting fillers of Ag coated ceramic and metals, new silver adhesives enable customer to benefit from a 30%~50% down in gross cost on conventional pure silver adhesives.

PROTAVIC® PNE 20700
This new CMR free product can fill easily any small cavities by micro-dispensing. The physical properties have a good balance and the curing is fast. This unfilled resin has a good adhesion on silicon and its high ionic purity permits to be placed in direct contact with semiconductors.
PROTAVIC® ACE 10600 A&B
As such, we are constantly improving our formulas in order to meet the requirements of our customers. This is the case with our two-component, silver-filled electroconductive adhesive ACE 10600 A&B, which is specially developed for conductor bonding in the manufacture of components and the transfer of flat components onto thick or thin layers in micro-electronics.
The main advantages are the absence of CMR, a good temperature resistance over the range of 250°C – 300°C in order to resist the soldering process as well a good electrical conductivity of pure silver.
The polymerized ACE 10600 A&B presents excellent protective properties against the environment as a result of its epoxy base and offers a wide choice of polymerization cycles, especially fastest ones (40 to 60 seconds at 200°C).
CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVES – NEW TT PROJECT WITH THE KARLSRUHE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
A new German-French Technology Transfer between the KARLSRUHE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY and PROTAVIC INTERNATIONAL has started: the goal of the project is to develop an electrically conductive adhesive for microelectronic components and solar nodules. The production of low-cost, resource saving solar modules is one of the central technical challenges for the next decade.
